We are pleased to be working with The Big Bike Revival and Ashford Borough Council again in spring/summer 2025.  Our new exciting programme is all about encouraging and supporting the local community to cycle.  You will find us delivering the following FREE sessions around Ashford:

  • Bike fixing – We fix punctures, tune gears, and adjust brakes. We also be on-hand to give out lots of helpful and impartial advice about bike care and maintenance
  • Discovery Rides – Join us on a gentle, supported ride to help you discover more of Ashford on a bike
  • Learn-to-Ride – Our team will help you to master riding for the first time or help you build confidence on 2-wheels 
  • Learn-to-Fix workshop – We teach the basics of cycle mechanics using non-technical terms, in a friendly and supportive environment.  Topics include bike setup, brakes and gears.  Ideal for adults and accompanied teenagers

VICTORIA PARK 

 SATURDAY 14th June (11am – 3pm)

We’re kicking off the summer with a Bike Day to celebrate national Bike Week (you will find us next to the pump track).  Our mechanics will be on-hand, offering free bike-checks (no need to book).  Our team will also be offering some learn-to-ride sessions in the ‘Bikeability area’ adjacent to the pump track (booking advised to avoid disappointment)     

WEDNESDAY 11th, 18th, 25th June, and 2nd, and 9th July

Bike fixing outside Harper’s Cafe from 4-6pm

Discovery rides starting outside Harper’s Cafe at 6pm for 1-2 hours depending on attendees.  Ideal for adults & accompanied teenagers

SATURDAY 19th July

Family ride starting outside Harper’s Cafe at 11am, for 1-2 hours depending on attendees.  Ideal for family for children who have completed any Bikeability level and their parents/guardians/grandparents

REPTON CONNECT COMMUNITY CENTRE

SATURDAY 7th June (2.30 – 5pm)

We’re kicking off the summer on  with a Bike Day @ReptonConnect (that’s the community centre next to Repton Manor School)).  Our mechanics will be on-hand, offering free bike-checks (no need to book).  Our team will also be offering some learn-to-ride sessions in the MUGA behind the community centre (booking advised to avoid disappointment).   Earlier in the day (12-2pm) we are running a learn-to-fix workshop – booking essential
